Russ H. McNair


Russ Hines McNair is a lifelong resident of Pensacola Fl, was born at NAS Pensacola, Fl in 1955 to a loving set of Christian parents who provided a positive foundation. His family ancestors are native Floridians having first settled in Myrtle Grove, Fl in the 1850s. Russ moved to multiple locations across the U.S. in support of his father’s career as a Naval Officer. During his teenage years Russ became a Cub Scout and a Boy Scout achieving the rank of Life Scout.


Russ graduated in the top 10% of his High School graduating class at Escambia High School in Myrtle Grove, FL, was an alternate to the U.S. Naval Academy, he acquired an AA degree in Business Management from Pensacola Junior College, graduating with honors from the University of West Florida (B.S. degree). He majored in Business Administration and minored in Organizational/Industrial Psychology, Process Management and Consultation. Russ has advanced degree studies which include: Industrial Engineering & Fiber Technology, Clemson University, Spartanburg S.C., and a Graduate Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Army Management Engineering College, Rock Island, IL.


Russ is a certified instructor from the Navy School of Work Study working in cooperation w/ Old Dominion University, Virginia Beach, VA. He is also certified by the Motion Time Measurement (MTM) Institute. As a licensed Industrial Engineer in the Department of the Navy, Russ became a certified Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) practitioner, certified as a Sterling Quality Examiner from the State of Florida, and certified in as Lean Six Sigma (LSS) practitioner. Russ is a certified Human Behavior Consultant with Personality Insights Inc., Atlanta, GA. He has licenses as a Florida Insurance and Variable Annuities agent, a licensed Florida Mortgage Broker working with Nautilus Financial Strategies, LLC of Pensacola, Florida.

Offices Held:

Mr. McNair served as President of the Cantonment Ball Park from 1980 to 1985. Russ has been an ordained deacon for over 25 years in various area Southern Baptist Churches. Russ was the first Sunday School Director for Pine Summit Baptist Church and served as Director for College and Career at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Russ has been involved in various programs while serving with the Naval Education & Training Command (NETC) including the elementary school mentorship program, Star-Base Atlantis, and Toys for Tots. Russ is also currently serving as Secretary for Open Arms Children’s Home, Inc., a 501C organization. Mr. McNair also serves as the Parliamentarian for Union Hill Cemetery Preservation Association non-profit organization.


Russ is the father of four boys whose ages range from 20-32. He has three Grandsons and one Granddaughter. Russ has been happily married to Denise Dawn Harris McNair of Pensacola, Fl for over 36 years. Russ’s main love is enjoying God’s handiwork while traveling and finding antiques with his best friend Denise. Together they both share a passion to work together using their human behavior consulting skills and training to help equip people with knowledge concerning their personalities, gifts, passions, and abilities while integrating them into service for the Kingdom of God. Russ is currently serving along with his wife, as a Sunday School teacher at Heritage Baptist Church in Cantonment, Fl.
